A ferry is required to get to our venue on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

Ferry reservations are required if you are travelling by vehicle, and sell out fast. One roundtrip reservation is required per car. Ferry reservations are not required if you are travelling as a foot passenger; you can walk onto the next ferry available.

If you are driving, we strongly recommend booking your roundtrip ferry reservation ASAP. See further instructions in the “Renting a Car” drop-down.

The closest airport to fly into is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

YVR has numerous car rental companies located on the ground floor of the parkade, just steps from the terminal.

To get from the YVR airport to the Sunshine Coast by vehicle:

1. Drive from YVR airport to the Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) Ferry Terminal. The drive is ~1 hour.

2. Board the ferry in your vehicle. Note you must have a ferry reservation in advance to board by vehicle and you must arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. Once your vehicle is loaded onto the ferry, you can leave your vehicle to enjoy the top decks of the ferry (it will have seats, great views, food, and beverages). The ferry duration is ~40 minutes.

3. Drive your vehicle off the ferry and to the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort (or other accommodation you have booked). The drive is ~50 minutes.

Parking at the resort is included for the duration of your stay.

IMPORTANT: You must arrive at minimum 30 minutes before your time of ferry departure, or they will not honour your reservation.

The closest airport to fly into is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

To get from the YVR airport to the Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) Ferry Terminal:

1. Ride Share apps (i.e. Uber/Lyft) or Taxis are available at YVR. It’s a ~ 1hr drive to the Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) Ferry Terminal.

2. Board the ferry as a foot passenger. Self-serve kiosks are available at the terminal to purchase your ticket. You will be able to walk on to the next available ferry. Reservations are not required for foot passengers.

After the ferry arrives at the Sunshine Coast (Langdale) Ferry Terminal, to get to the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort:

1. We are providing a shuttle at 4PM

2. Take a Taxi or download the Coastal Rides app to drive from the Sunshine Coast (Langdale) Ferry Terminal to Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. The drive is ~50 minutes.

   • You can schedule your ride ahead of time using West Coast Taxi or Coastal Rides based on your ferry’s arrival time.

   • Uber isn’t available on Sunshine Coast, but the Coastal Rides app functions like Uber.
